Requirements for the Vocational Education and Training Student Visa – Subclass 572
Vocational Education and Training Student Visa applicants are required to:
- be enrolled in a registered Vocational Education and Training course;
- meet academic and requirements;
- depending on their circumstances, show that they genuinely intend to stay in Australia temporarily;
- meet English language requirements;
- have financial means to support themselves; and
- meet health, insurance and character requirements.
If you are under 18 years of age, you will also need to meet certain visa requirements by demonstrating that you have:
- parental permission to be able to study in Australia; and
- made suitable arrangements for your accommodation, support and general welfare during the duration of your stay in Australia.
Entitlements of the Vocational Education and Training Student Visa – Subclass 572
This visa is a temporary visa, allowing you multiple exits and entries to Australia, valid for the duration of your course. If you are granted this visa, subject to age restrictions, you will be permitted to work:
- a maximum of 20 hours per week during term; and
- as much as you like during term breaks.
