Australian English Language Study Visa – Subclass 570 Requirements
English Language Study (ELICOS) visa applicants are required to:
- be enrolled in a registered English language course as their main course of study;
- depending on their circumstances, show that they genuinely intend to stay in Australia temporarily;
- meet academic requirements;
- meet English language requirements;
- have financial means to support themselves; and
- meet health, insurance and character requirements.
Australian English Language Study Visa – Subclass 570 Entitlements
This visa is a temporary visa, allowing you multiple exits and entries to Australia, valid for the duration of the English language course. If you are granted English Language Study (ELICOS) visa, you will be permitted to work:
- a maximum of 20 hours per week during term; and
- as much as you like during term breaks.
